The hotels we use are carefully selected to provide you with a comfortable stay in a relaxing environment. All the hotel we use are three-star, with continental breakfast included. As the hotels are generally not in the downtown area, we cannot guarantee that there is transportation to the city except for taxis. Please note that hotels will vary depending on group sizes and hence hotel information can only be ascertained within 24 hours prior to check-in.

Take an international flight from Australia to Shanghai and be transferred to your hotel for layover.
In the morning, depart Shanghai for Prague. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, visit the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and hosts many tourist activities. It’s a marvellous place to acquaint yourself with Prague. Several restaurants will be waiting to delight your tastebuds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.
Prague
Today we explore the Baroque jewel of Europe – Prague. When Charles IV was crowned Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, he decreed that Prague be made into one of the most beautiful cities on Earth – and generations of travellers to this city of Baroque and Gothic castles and cathedrals would agree that he was successful. Your guided city tour will take in the most outstanding monuments, and includes a walk through Prague Castle. Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour along Moldava River, before taking free time in the afternoon to explore further. In the evening, enjoy some time in the historical city centre and more options for dinner, before returning to the hotel.
Depart for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will see Lauf An Der Pegnitz, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy market square and castle. After this we will carry on to Wurzburg, with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine River, a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city. Our journey continues towards Frankfurt, to explore the historic centre and select a restaurant for dinner.
Frankfurt
Today we cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar – undoubtedly the river’s most picturesque sector. Then, travel to Cologne, known for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then on to Holland, arriving in Amsterdam in the evening.

A very exciting day! We will go to Zaanse Schans with its mills, canals and traditional typical houses. Ten, visit Volendam, a very picturesque fishing village. From Volendam, take a short boat trip to Marken, an island that was connected to the mainland by a fixed dike, their houses were built on stilts. In the afternoon we include a tour of Amsterdam to see the narrow canals – the Dam Platz; the official buildings and parks; and also the technique of diamond cutting. Transfer to the red light district, with its liberal values and its many restaurants catering to people from all over the world

Leave for Brussels, and visit the Grand Palace and then taking a stop to photograph the Atomium. Later in Bruges, the marvellous Flemish city known as ‘northern little Venice’. After lunch, continue to France, arriving in Paris at the end of the day.
Recommendation: If you start or end your trip in Paris, we advise you to book an extra day or two in this city. In this way, you will be able to get to know EuroDisney, Versailles and other places of interest.
Bruges
Today, enjoy a guided tour of Paris to discover the history, the main boulevards, and the breathtaking monuments of the City of Light, finishing at the Eiffel Tower. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. If deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different time of day. End the tour with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city at your leisure. At sunset, transfer to the ‘Quartier Latin’, were you can select from a wide variety of international cuisines, before returning to the hotel.
Paris Eiffel Tower
Today, visit the centre of Paris, in the vicinity of the Louvre Museum, for free time at your leisure. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the best-known perfumeries in Paris. At around 5:30 PM we will leave Paris for Rouen, a ‘museum city’ with its houses with half-timbered walls, narrow streets and gothic churches. Check into your hotel to rest.
Louvre
Depart for the north of France. In Eperlecques we visit a huge bunker in the middle of the forest. From here, Nazi V1 and V2 missiles were fired at the UK. Next, we take a ferry across the English Channel to Canterbury, which has a very attractive historic centre and cathedral. Continue to London, and transfer to Camden, a district famous for having one of the most varied and extravagant street markets in London. Enjoy dinner at one of the numerous and diverse restaurants.

Get to know London on a guided tour that takes in the city’s style, culture and history. See the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where we should, depending on the season, be able to watch the famous changing of the guard. If you wish, you can go on an optional excursion to the London Eye ferris wheel. Late afternoon, after a period of free time, we invite all our travellers to a traditional English afternoon tea. In the evening, stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown and Soho, and enjoy the atmosphere of this theatre and entertainment district. Sit down for dinner at a restaurant of your choice.
Royal Guard
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight/s.
Arrive home today in Australia.
