Drive southwards along the coast to charming San Diego, a Spanish-influenced city set around a sweeping bay and numerous sparkling white sand beaches. On arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour and discover the beautifully-restored Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park (the largest cultural complex west of the Mississippi) and Historic Old Town San Diego – the ‘birthplace’ of California. It was here in 1769 that Father Junipero Serra came to establish the first of 21 missions that became the cornerstones of California. Today, Old Town San Diego still preserves its rich heritage from the period of 1821-1871. Later, take a harbour cruise* in San Diego. Sit back and relax as you take in a fully-narrated tour, offering top-notch views of the San Diego skyline, a cruise under Coronado Bridge, a look at the bustling US Naval fleet, and a chance to spot some of the harbour’s resident sea lions.
Visit Santa Barbara, where Spanish colonial architecture is fused with modern details, giving the city a casual elegance. Drive along the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway to arrive at Denmark Village. Antique windmills and Northern European-style architecture punctuate the little village’s skyline. Brilliant sunshine, boundless open country and rolling hills are the characteristics of what the original Danish immigrants called Solvang, or ‘Sunny Field’. Pour yourself a cup of aromatic European-style coffee and nibble a world famous Danish pastry. Continue on to San Francisco.
Cross the Bay Bridge to enchanting San Francisco, and explore the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman Wharf, Lombard Street, Palace of Fine Arts and more. Enjoy a bay cruise* and sail beneath the Bay Bridge, pass by Alcatraz, Angel and Treasure Islands. Afterwards, experience the famous San Francisco Cable Car*. Make a brief stop at Barstow to do some shopping, then head to Las Vegas, where you may take a night tour* to explore the dazzling Vegas night life! The tour guide will lead you to the world’s largest hotel – the Palazzo Venetian Mega Centre, the neon light show on Fremont Street, the Music Fountain at the Bellagio, and the volcano show at Mirage. Stay overnight in Las Vegas.
Drive to the Hoover Dam and see what was the largest concrete structure of its time. Visit the dam and view Lake Mead – North America’s largest artificial lake. Then, travel to one of the most famous 7 natural wonders on the world – the Grand Canyon!

Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is owned and operated by the Hualapai Tribe. They provide a park shuttle to enter the canyon’s West Rim area. Upon arrival in the terminal, you have the opportunity to take a helicopter ride and sightseeing boat tour* of the Colorado River, in order to experience the canyon and river from a different perspective. Afterwards, take the park shuttle to the next sightseeing spots, Eagle Point and Guano Point. At Eagle Point, you’ll visit the Skywalk*, a gigantic new structure on the very edge of the Grand Canyon West Rim, which allows you to walk on clear glass far above the canyon floor.
